Product description

The substructure for south-facing flat roofs with 18 PV modules (approx. 8 kWp) is a highly efficient solution for installing photovoltaic systems on flat roofs. The system was specifically designed for south-facing installations and offers an optimal balance between yield, space utilization, and wind load resistance.

The construction consists of robust, corrosion-resistant aluminum profiles and stainless steel connectors and is designed for permanent, secure attachment without penetrating the roof. The low-ballast design with an optimized pitch (typically 10–15°) minimizes shading while ensuring high energy yields – even with small roof areas.

Thanks to pre-assembled components, an intelligent click system, and sophisticated module guidance, the system can be installed quickly and easily. The aerodynamic design reduces wind loads and provides additional stability – without the need for additional roof anchoring. The substructure is ideal for plastic or bitumen waterproofing, as well as membrane and gravel roofs.

South-facing installation is particularly economical for systems with consistent daily power consumption. The system is compatible with all common standard modules (60–120 cells) and meets the requirements of DIN EN 1991 (Eurocode) regarding snow and wind loads.

A notice:
The roof structure must be tested on site for sufficient load-bearing capacity. Ballasting is carried out according to the project-specific design using AEROTOOL. In areas with increased wind loads or seismic activity, a hybrid solution with roof anchoring is recommended.
