Product description

The substructure for bitumen roofs with 18 PV modules is an ideal solution for photovoltaic systems with a total output of approximately 8 kWp. It was specially developed for flat roofs or slightly pitched roofs with bitumen or welded membrane waterproofing and enables stable, durable installation – without any roof penetration.

The system consists of a high-quality, corrosion-resistant aluminum mounting frame that rests on the roof with ballast. The roof waterproofing remains completely intact, as the structure is attached without screws or drilling. Rubber granulate pads at the support points protect the bitumen surface from pressure marks and abrasion. The aerodynamic design ensures maximum stability even under high wind loads.

The system is designed for 18 standard modules (60–120 cells) and can be installed in either a south-facing or east-west configuration. Pre-assembled components significantly reduce installation time. The substructure meets all relevant Eurocode structural requirements and is designed for long-term use under extreme weather conditions.

With its discreet appearance, the substructure is particularly suitable for private residential buildings, carports, extensions, or smaller commercial spaces. Its modular expandability also allows for flexible adaptations for future projects or expansions of the PV system.

A notice:
The roof structure must be inspected on-site for sufficient load-bearing capacity. Installation is to be carried out exclusively by qualified personnel. All connections must be made with the specified torques (e.g., 15–30 Nm). The reinforced XWS version is available for snow load zones and special roof shapes.
