The Fronius Backup Controller is a fixed switching unit that enables automatic transition to full backup mode and is designed for use in public grids with TN-CS/TN-S systems. Its main function is to automatically and safely disconnect all connected consumers and generators from the public grid in the event of a power failure or grid disruption, in accordance with the grid operator's specifications. This solution ensures that the entire household is always safely supplied as long as there is enough energy available from the PV system or storage system - even when no one is at home. As soon as grid stability is restored, the consumers and generators are automatically reconnected to the public grid.
