The Fronius Backup Switch is a cost-effective 3-way switch for manually activating emergency power operation. This solution supplies the entire household in full backup mode as long as there is enough energy available from the PV system or storage, thus offering maximum security and independence. The Backup Switch 1P/3P-63A is suitable for 1- and 3-phase networks where no neutral conductor separation is required.

The Full Backup emergency power option is not available for the Fronius Symo GEN24 3.0–5.0 Plus.
