The Fronius OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION (10-27 kW) offers comprehensive surge protection for your photovoltaic system. These Type I and II devices protect inverters such as GEN24plus and Symo/Symo Advanced up to Eco/Eco light from voltage spikes. One device is required for Type S inverters, while Type M inverters should be equipped with two units. Advantages include easy retrofitting and the ability to optimally adapt the protective devices to your system specifications.

The type 2 surge protection device or the type 1+2 combined surge arrester (DC OVP type 1+2), for direct and indirect lightning strikes, is specifically designed for use with the Fronius Symo 10.0 - 20.0 kW and Fronius Eco inverters.

Please note:

• For inverters of type "-S" 1 piece is required.
• For inverters of type "-M" two are required.
