The innovative Hyper 2000 from Zendure is a hybrid inverter that transforms your SolarFlow The balcony power station connects to the mains via plug-and-play. This allows you to charge your batteries not only with solar energy, but also with energy from the grid. When and how much energy from which source should be used is easily controlled via the app. Up to 1200W of bidirectional AC power can also be configured. Multiple Hyper modules recognize and connect to each other as long as they are connected to the same phase; a three-phase installation is also possible.
A storage tower consists of a Hyper module and up to four AB1000 or AB2000 batteries. This allows for a maximum capacity of 7.68 kWh per stack. The four solar inputs on the Hyper simplify installation and reduce energy loss compared to parallel connections. Whether your solar modules are mounted on the roof, balcony, garden shed, or patio, the Hyper's simple installation into a standard power outlet makes it extremely flexible. A total of up to three Hyper towers can be operated per phase.

How does the Hyper 2000 work?

Daytime: During the day, the Hyper converts the energy generated by its solar panels into AC power for your home. When excess solar power is generated that would otherwise be fed back into the grid, the Hyper 2000 sends it to the batteries for storage, reducing energy waste. This can be configured in the Zendure app or by using a compatible smart meter.
At night: At night, the Hyper then converts the stored energy into AC power for your home, significantly improving energy efficiency. This reduces the waste of excess solar energy and helps you get the most cost benefit from your system.

  • If the power generation of the solar panels is higher than the set AC output power, the Hyper 2000 stores the surplus in the connected batteries
  • If the power generation of the solar panels is lower than the set AC output power, all the power generation of the modules will be delivered to your home and the battery will be discharged to reach the set AC output power
  • When there is no power generation from the solar panels, the Hyper 2000 uses the batteries to power your home

The Hyper system automatically detects additional Hyper devices and ensures seamless networking of up to three towers per phase, thus increasing the MPPT output of 5400W and up to 23.04kWh of battery capacity are possible. With the help of a smart meter, the Hyper can minimize energy feed-in to the grid and thus optimize self-consumption. It can also adjust the AC output power. The Hyper 2000 supports the Zendure. Satellite Monitor CT and the Satellite Plug , as well as the Shelly 3EM, Pro 3EM and Plus Plug S devices.
*A balcony power plant with 2000W of solar power, a 1200W Hyper 2000 output, and two AB2000 batteries can generate up to 6kWh per day. Based on an electricity tariff of €0.40/kWh, savings of up to €876 per year are possible, assuming optimal module orientation, optimal weather conditions, and appropriate base load.

How does the Hyper 2000 differ from conventional balcony power plants? Until now, the batteries of mini-PV systems could only be charged with solar energy. The Hyper Inverter now offers the option of supplying the batteries with solar or AC energy, depending on your needs and preferences. With this intelligent energy management, you can use your balcony power plant even more efficiently and significantly reduce your electricity costs.

Bidirectional performance

The bidirectional 1200W output can be used not only to power your home but also to store grid power. Intelligent anti-discharge technology automatically draws on grid power to maintain a reserve charge when sunlight is insufficient and batteries are running low. By drawing power from the grid during low-price periods and using the stored energy when prices rise, you can significantly reduce your energy costs while maintaining a reliable power supply. For precise energy management, the AC power is adjustable from 30–1200W in 1W increments with a fast response time of less than 3 seconds.

Time-of-Use Automation

The Zendure app provides real-time electricity price notifications. Users can set a target price and create a charging and discharging schedule accordingly. The system then automatically charges when electricity prices are low and discharges when prices are high, ensuring cost-efficient usage. This allows you to easily reduce your electricity costs with little effort.

ZenLink

ZenLink is a local communication technology that offers significant advantages over alternatives. Multiple Hyper 2000 stacks automatically detect and coordinate with each other when connected to the power outlets in your home, without relying on Wi-Fi. Additionally, multiple Hyper modules identify the phase to which they are connected. If they are on the same phase, they can be automatically bundled and controlled uniformly, saving significant time and money. Hypers installed on the same phase automatically network and standardize their total power (0-1800W). When installed on different phases, each Hyper operates independently and can reach its full power of 1200W. This intelligent phase detection ensures optimal power distribution and utilization in your electrical grid.

Anti-discharge technology

The Hyper 2000 is equipped with intelligent anti-thermal runaway technology. To protect the longevity and performance of your batteries, the Hyper 2000 uses AC and/or solar power to keep the batteries at 5% charge. If neither AC nor solar power is available, such as during a power outage overnight, the Hyper goes into sleep mode to reduce discharge. Intelligent anti-thermal runaway technology ensures that the battery maintains a safe and appropriate temperature during charging and discharging. This feature helps prevent damage from overheating and ensures the longevity and performance of your device. It also automatically charges with AC power when the batteries are low and solar energy is insufficient, preventing battery damage and ensuring you have some reserve power.
